Recommendations :
If the provision of extra widening is not possible due to any reason, the Signboard of a Speed limit of 15 kmph should be provided in such a way that it is visible at 60 m distance before the curve, and precautions for speed management should be taken.
If redesign of curvature is not possible due to any factors, minimum extra widening of 0.9m is recommended as per IRC:73 for design speed of 15 kmph.
